Sperm Count
For counting spermatozoa the right and left epididymes of each rat were taken into 5 ml of 1% sodium citrates solution and squashed thoroughly with the aid of
needle and forceps until a milky suspension was obtained. The solution was filtered through 80u mesh and the volume was made unto 10 ml with the same
solution, the made-up volume was inclusive of the washings from the filter. The suspension was shaken thoroughly and the spermatozoa were counted within 5
WBC chambers of the haemocytometer, the average count was reported as the same dilution (10 ml) was uniformly used (Table II).
